Hollow Knight - Infected Crossroads

Infected Crossroads - Once the familiar cold and quiet caverns just below Dirtmouth, the acquisition of the Monarch Wings or the release of a Dreamer from sleep will release the might of the Infection upon an unsuspecting Hallownest. The caverns have been overgrown by diseased pustules and the local wildlife has become twisted and extremely dangerous.

It's interesting how the Crossroads has gone from the area with the most enemies to one with the least amount of new enemies. It's still one of the most dangerous ones, especially with the screeching and explosives disorienting new players as they unexpectedly return after killing a Dreamer...
