Hollow Knight - Ancient Basin

Kingdom's Edge - The far eastern part of Hallownest, constantly snowing with white ash from a massive deceased Wyrm. Bodies from the Colosseum of Fools fall from above into the acid pits below. In the far southeastern part of the area is a deep pit that leads to the largest Geo deposit in the game.

"Isn't this a cozy hole? I've been venturing about that wilderness beside here and thought a moment's break was well called for... The landscape's all rather serene this side of the city, though the inhabitants are as ferocious as ever. Judging by this wall, the city's folk seemed hesitant to build further into these caverns. Kingdom's Edge is an extremely fun area of the game. The vertical climb to the top, the enemy designs, and the music all add to the haunting atmosphere. The ashy winds feel like snow (although you wouldn't want to roll in this stuff). The Colosseum awaits at the top of the zone, though that's going to be a later post of its own.
